Every one of us on this team grew up crouched over a handheld, thumb sore from a D-pad, watching the low-battery light blink and praying the save file would hold. That console is long gone, but the feeling never really left — and it turns out we weren't the only ones who missed it.

KNEELEVER started with a simple frustration: the retro handhelds we loved were either genuine originals falling apart from age, or cheap knockoffs that looked the part and died in a month. Nobody was building something that respected the original design and actually held up.

We design our hardware in-house — not a drop-shipped shell with our logo slapped on. Every unit gets a rebuilt battery, an upgraded IPS display, and USB-C charging, because "authentic" shouldn't mean "unusable in 2026." Every console is assembled to CE and FCC standard and backed by a real warranty, with a real team behind it if something goes wrong.
